ABOUT ME
Why I’m a Doula and Breastfeeding Counselor
I have found the greatest happiness in becoming a mother to my two daughters. The experience has deeply connected me to the challenges and joys that families experience when welcoming a new baby into an existing family. I have a passion for helping families smooth the adjustment by providing comprehensive breastfeeding support and guiding families to find the path in parenting that is important to them.
MY SERVICES
As a lactation counselor and postpartum doula, I offer non judgmental support to mother, support persons and older siblings. I strive to educate the family about breastfeeding, newborn characteristics and basic skills such as bathing, diapering and swaddling. I also provide light meal and snack preparation as well as light household maintenance so that the family has more time to bond with their new baby.

After the birth of our third child, we knew we needed some extra assistance with the baby and maintaining our family life. Melissa was incredible in helping me with breastfeeding solutions and getting a proper latch. I was amazed when her suggestions helped immediately. Even as a third time mom, I still benefited so much from her knowledge, care for all of our family members, and her expertise. I would highly recommend Melissa to work with your family wether you are a first time mom, or fifth! I only wish I had found her before my third!

I was so grateful and lucky to have Melissa as my postpartum doula. She gave my family such caring support and valuable knowledge during my postpartum and 3rd trimester. She inspired me, energized me and encouraged me to be a confident, happy mom of two. I highly value Melissa's support and hope you have her when you are in need of a village to raise your child.
